  • Review of credit for new customers- seeking credit references and public data review.
  • Request W-9 and Sales Tax-exempt certification from all customers.
  • Enter new customers in Business Central.
  • Deposit all checks received, and post them along with ACH and wire transfers.
  • Monitor for payment & credit limit authorization, send updated statements to customers.
  • Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in ledgers.
  • Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely invoicing and collection of payments.

Accounts Payable

  • Enter new vendors in Business Central, collect W-9 form, and complete the Yearly 1099 filing.
  • Receive Vendor BL / quality report. Communicate with the vendor regarding billing issues immediately and resolve them.
  • Post non-PO bills and process the payment (check or ACH) every week. Upload a check for the Positive Pay system.
  • Enter payroll journal entries by department.
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and preparing payment schedules.

Weekly and Monthly tasks

  • Follow up for weekly AP payment.
  • Review AR outstanding & Follow Up Letters
  • Review AP Payments and check signing /filing of documents, and update the share folders.
  • Complete month-end close, reconcile subsidiary accounts to G/L, and review financial statements and accruals.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Ensure inventory valuation is properly stated on the trial balance and balance sheet.
  • Keep track of cash flow by division.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are up to date.
  • Maintain current knowledge of bookkeeping regulations and best practices.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to work on a fast-paced team with the business unit and operations.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel), and working knowledge of Dynamics Business Central.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eligibility to work in USA.
