What you'll do as a Plant Purchasing Manager:
As the Plant Purchasing Manager for our Molding Products Division, you will be responsible for leading all purchasing activities for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend at the plant level. You will develop supplier relationships, manage cost control strategies, and ensure a consistent supply of quality materials to support efficient manufacturing operations.
What you can expect to do as a Plant Purchasing Manager:
Lead all purchasing and procurement activities for the Molding Products plant
Manage supplier relationships, including price negotiations, lead times, quality issues, and delivery performance
Collaborate with corporate supply chain, operations, and planning teams to align plant purchasing strategies with company goals
Identify cost savings opportunities and implement purchasing best practices
Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and safety/environmental regulations
Monitor inventory levels to support production while minimizing excess/obsolete materials
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved supplier list
Participate in new product launches and sourcing initiatives
Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports for plant and corporate leadership
What we are looking for in a Plant Purchasing Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
5+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Solid understanding of inventory and production planning concepts (MRP/ERP)
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Experience in managing multiple suppliers and complex supply chains
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Pay Transparency Range$95,000 – $115,000 annually (based on experience, qualifications, and location)
