Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a technician with a 2-year degree, which is a strong plus but not mandatory if the candidate has significant experience. The role involves the effective acquisition, installation, maintenance, and use of desktop technology. Responsibilities include hardware/software purchasing and installation, resolving equipment issues, and possibly training end users. The technician will administer end user requests and projects, coordinate resources to solve problems, and develop solutions for routine technical issues under close supervision. The role may involve small projects or phases of larger projects, with work primarily directed by detailed instructions. Contacts are mainly with supervisors, project leaders, and other professionals, with occasional external customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot complex client issues both in-person and remotely.• Install, update, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, including servers, ensuring optimal system operations.
