The Head of Talent oversees the end-to-end talent sourcing and delivery engine at Welo Data and plays a pivotal role in enabling the organization to scale in large and small volumes at quality. This role ensures that our workforce development can meet our strategic delivery goals, with a sharp focus on efficiency and metrics-driven management, creating differentiation of our workforce from competitors, and iterating on industry-leading innovation. This executive leader is responsible for shaping the future of talent at Welo Data by optimizing and standardizing hiring practices, harnessing innovative technologies, and leading a global team towards achieving unparalleled excellence in service delivery. The functional areas included within the remit of this role are managing Talent Acquisition & Recruitment to provide a range of offerings from crowd-scale workforce design to small bespoke teams of global experts.

The functional areas included within the remit of this role are managing Talent Acquisition & Recruitment to provide a range of offerings from crowd-scale workforce design to small bespoke teams of global experts.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Strategic Leadership & Execution of Talent Service Offerings

  • Actively drive commercialization of Welo Data's talent offerings, with a constant pulse on the competitive landscape and evolving needs of the end customer to understand how to best position Welo Data 's workforce in pre and post sales environments .

  • Process Optimization & Operational Efficiency: Drive standardization of workflows and automate wherever possible , optimizing utilization and process to continuously improve metrics related to efficiency and cost of rater acquisition .

  • Workforce Value Chain Management: Determine optimal sourcing strategies for existing and novel language pairs, acquire expert talent, analyze and standardize pricing to guarantee fairness and competitiveness of market rates for the workforce , create centralized tracking systems to maximize utilization of FTE worker hours and efficiency across all programs.

  • Lead the establishment of a “follow-the-sun delivery model for the talent team, ensuring that teams are able to communicate effectively across timezones and can e asily exchange duties between team members.

  • Enabling Team Performance: Establish and continuously reevaluate success criteria for allfunctional areas of Talent to ensure alignment with desired business outcomes. Use objective metrics to assess success at all levels of the organization and identify areas for measurable improvement.

  • Manage Key Stakeholder Relationships: Effectively manage key stakeholder relationships, including executive leadership, external partners, and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives .

  • Lead, Coach and Mentor a Global Team

Additional Job Details:

Experience

  • Experience in talent acquisition , technical writing, or education is essential, particularly valuable if you have experience in philosophy, process engineering, or other fields that involve abstract reasoning.

  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on simplifying and optimizing complex systems .

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced environments, managing teams to achieve strategic objectives .

  • Previous experience in team management or leadership is a plus, indicating your ability to guide and develop a team effectively.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.

  • Strong computer and technological skills, with experience in utilizing ATS and data analysis tools to drive actions and measurable insight.

  • Strong critical thinking and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret data , drive the development of novel analysis, and make informed decisions.

  • Ability to view situations from multiple perspectives and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of establishing company processes and guidelines.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Deep understanding of various languages and cultures will be advantageous , with a strong passion for the AI Data Services and Localization field.
