My luxury retail client is looking for a full time role for a Boutique Director for an UES Flagship Store!

Schedule: 5 days/week, 2 days off, you will likely work a lot of the weekend and have two days off; 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM with flexibility as needed (could come or leave an hour or two after closing for operations work, store opening, working special events on occassion)

About the Role

A renowned luxury brand is seeking an experienced and dynamic Boutique Director to lead its flagship Madison Avenue boutique. This is a high-impact leadership position focused on building a best-in-class team, elevating client experience, and driving operational excellence.

You'll be responsible for developing internal structure, managing boutique operations, and setting the tone for a high-performance, client-first environment. If you're passionate about people, process, and performance—and thrive in a fast-paced luxury setting—this could be your perfect next step.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of 9, including hiring, training, performance coaching, and daily operations
• Oversee boutique operations including scheduling, floor execution, and team development
• Create a strong internal culture rooted in service, collaboration, and operational consistency
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to uphold brand standards and deliver elevated client service (without direct sales responsibilities)
• Monitor and optimize boutique performance, contributing to team KPIs and annual goals
• Represent the brand as a cultural leader and operational expert on the ground
• 3–5+ years of experience in luxury retail, fashion, hospitality, or a premium client-facing industry
• Strong operational knowledge and ability to build systems and processes from the ground up
• Confident people leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for luxury customer experience and team empowerment
• Highly organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable with shifting priorities
• Proficient in managing scheduling, staffing needs, and store readiness
• A flexible mindset—available to open early, stay late for events, and work weekends as needed
