Job Title: SAP Master Data Solution Specialist

Location: Brooklyn / Melville, LI, Locations in New York

Job Type: Contract-to-Perm

The Challenge

We are looking for an experienced SAP Master Data Solution Specialist with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud and a strong command of SAP Activate methodologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP Master Data solutions to enhance data governance, data quality, and overall business efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful SAP implementations and ensure seamless integration across business processes.

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations, focusing on Master Data Management (MDM) configurations and best practices.
• Apply SAP Activate methodology across all project phases, including discovery, preparation, exploration, realization, deployment, and operations.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs for master data governance.
• Configure SAP Master Data elements such as Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, Business Partner, and Financial Master Data.
• Ensure integration and data consistency across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, EWM, etc.).
• Conduct workshops, user training, and change management initiatives for business stakeholders.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP master data issues, providing post-go-live support and continuous improvements.
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards and policies while implementing master data solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4HANA functionalities and industry best practices.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Data Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM) implementation and support, with at least 2+ years in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile project management.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data lifecycle management.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP Master Data or SAP S/4HANA certification is highly desirable.
