Role Overview
As a Trading Operations Specialist, you will support trading desks in London, Singapore, and Chicago. This role involves solving complex problems, collaborating with traders, researchers, and engineers to optimize workflows and leverage technology effectively.
Responsibilities
Act as process owner for current functionalities, providing support and recommending enhancements to technology, workflows, and processes.Understand traders' risk management tools and support their needs.Upgrade and support traders' tools to utilize firm-standard technologies.Collaborate with technology teams to improve tools where necessary.Adopt and promote new technologies as they become available.Gain mastery of proprietary systems for trade capture, inventory, treasury, and risk management related to futures, options, and crypto assets.Perform trade and position reconciliation with clearing houses, counterparties, and brokers.Calculate and substantiate daily P&L.Provide operational support for the firm's crypto asset desk.Minimum Requirements
Experience and working knowledge in crypto.Proficiency with Version Control, Git, Python, Cron, Linux.2-3 years of experience in front/middle/back office, or risk management roles involving exchange-traded and OTC products and derivatives.Experience working with derivatives is preferred.Prior interaction with front office and senior management in active trading environments.Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Ability to work independently and analyze complex problems to develop solutions.The annual base salary ranges from $105,000 to $160,000, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
