Responsibilities
- Collaborate with functional and lead technical staff to design, construct, and maintain software programs in areas such as:
- Web service interfaces using Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform and Red Hat Fuse technologies
- Develop data cleanse scripts or programs to identify and manage data consistency and quality issues in legacy systems via SQL, Excel, or other data analysis tools
- Create data conversion scripts to migrate legacy data to the Oracle-based Momentum ERP system, supporting complex business logic and optimizing database performance
- Assist with unit testing and support system testing conducted by functional analysts
- Work with senior developers to troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and support minor technical changes
- Implement quality assurance standards and processes for validation and verification
- Apply software development best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in software development or related fields
- Experience working with Momentum Financials or similar ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
- Experience developing JBoss and Fuse Web Interfaces
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance (US citizenship required)
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Effective at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- Flexible to work extra hours as needed
- Quick learner with the ability to apply new skills
- Experience with Federal Financial Management systems
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience supporting interface development and large-scale data conversions
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL statements
- Web interface design experience
