Part-time Availability needed: Monday-Friday from 2pm-7:30pm (and Saturdays if available)

High Need for Behavior Interventionists in Ramona, CA and surrounding areas, as well as San Diego County! For over 40 years, IABA has been providing high quality, person-centered treatment for children and their families. We take pride in the positive changes we make in our community.

As a Behavior Interventionist with IABA, you will serve as a key member of our team, specializing in delivering evidence-based, person-centered interventions to support children and adolescents with developmental disabilities like Autism Spectrum Disorder.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of children and adolescents with disabilities by implementing personalized treatment plans, fostering skill development, and promoting positive behavior change. Your primary goal is to provide one-to-one intensive intervention, assisting clients in developing the skills necessary to be integrated into school and other community settings.

Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you will provide one-on-one support in the home and community, using our positive-only methods to reinforce desired behaviors, and enhance play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills.

LOCATION: Ramona, CA and throughout San Diego County

10-15 Hours of work per week to start, with potential for more in the future!

PAID training provided, including shadowing sessions in the field.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for helping children, including ability to be silly and have fun playing!
  • Previous experience working with children preferred (including babysitting or with family members)
  • Dedication and commitment to working daily with our clients at home
  • Reliable transportation & proof of auto insurance
  • Prefer (but do not require) bachelor's degree in psychology, child development or a related field
  • Willingness to drive to clients' homes throughout San Diego county
  • Must pass TB test
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
