- What does a Banking Services Manager - MMBL do?
- Lead and uplift the branch operations team and act as a true supervisor of branch affairs.
- Work in close liaison with the Branch Manager to achieve optimum results.
- Supervise and administer the operations of the branch in a manner that bank's policies and SBP prudential regulations are fully adhered to.
- Create a working environment where customers receive the best attention and service.
- Ensure staff under domain is working in line with Bank SOPs and controls, and recommend timely rotation of staff.
- Ensure adherence to the concept of dual control and maintain the secrecy of cash safe keys and test keys/passwords.
- Ensure all computer inputs/outputs are signed jointly and output/input reports are properly sealed and kept in record.
- Attend to auditors (Internal/External/SBP, Internal Control) and arrange compliance of their reports within timelines.
- Observe cash in safe/cash on counter limits.
- Prepare and submit all sorts of MIS/Confirmations as and when required and attend to customer complaints for timely resolution.
- Ensure that account balancing is carried out independently and outstanding items in all suspense, excess, shortage, prepaid expenses accounts are reviewed and balanced monthly.
- Maintain and balance Security Stationary periodically as per SOP.
- Supervise and maintain record of all account openings and related operations.
- Ensure daily balancing of cash book, vault, and necessary reports are prepared.
- Arrange handling of all departments including Deposits, Cash tellers, Bills, Inward/Outward Clearing/Remittances, HRD, Credits, Jazz Cash, Borrower/Nonborrower accounts, Recoveries, and all Banking Activities to minimize operational risks and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Authorize and supervise all types of financial and non-financial transaction requests on the system in real-time, ensuring no transaction is left unauthorized at day end.
- Ensure proper staff backup is available for critical positions.
- Ensure staff punctuality and adherence to bank dress code.
- Nominate staff for training in consultation with Line Manager.
- Maintain close coordination and cooperation between departments of the bank for smooth conduct of bank's business.
- Monitor staff behavior and activities and report any suspiciousness observed.
- Supervise custody and record-keeping of PDCs, Gold, Pass Books, Duplicate Keys, ATM Combination Codes, and any security.
- Manage HR and admin-related matters of branch staff.
- Ensure all processes are completed successfully before the end of the day, and physical vouchers are checked, tallied, and stitched with User Activity Reports daily.
- Any other duty assigned by Line Manager.

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in marketing or commerce from a reputable institution. MBA will be preferable (subject to approval).
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
