A global leading Cisco Gold Partner is delivering expert Data Center services to Tier-1 enterprise clients across the U.S. and is now looking for a Data Center Technician to support its fast-growing 24/7 operations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a mission-critical environment. You'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting data center infrastructure in a high-availability setting that demands precision, speed, and accountability.

Looking to work with top-tier clients in a high-performance environment where uptime is everything? Step into a role where your expertise drives mission-critical infrastructure every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, cable, and integrate IT infrastructure equipment, including enterprise-class servers, core and edge network switches, storage arrays, and intelligent PDUs, following structured methodologies and data center industry best practices.
  • Perform precision physical hardware deployments, including racking and stacking of high-density equipment, ensuring optimal airflow, secure mounting, and compliance with weight distribution standards.
  • Execute structured cabling tasks using fiber optic (LC/MPO/MTP) and copper (Cat6/Cat6a) media, ensuring accurate port mapping, cable labeling, and adherence to TIA/EIA and ANSI standards.
  • Test, validate, and troubleshoot MPO/MTP fiber connections, including endface inspection, polarity (Type A, B, C) verification, continuity, and insertion loss using appropriate diagnostic tools (e.g., MPO polarity testers, VFL, OTDR, and power meters).
  • Diagnose and resolve Layer 1 connectivity issues, such as mispatches, bent fibers, improper transceiver pairings, or polarity mismatches in high-speed optical networks (10G/40G/100G/400G).

Skills/Must have:

  • Work collaboratively with senior technicians, infrastructure engineers, and network teams to meet deployment timelines, escalate complex issues, and ensure seamless integration into the live environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all installations, including detailed cable matrices, fiber path layouts, port assignments, equipment inventories, and rack elevations.

Salary:

  • $55ph
