Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support the Inspection Supervisor in executing planned and unplanned integrity inspection programs by performing inspections on the assigned unit's static equipment and piping, aimed at gathering required corrosion and inspection information while assessing the equipment/piping integrity condition.
- Develop the EIS program, review RBI based OSI Program, and plan executions with Maintenance Planners.
- Review the acquired data and recommend necessary repairs or replacements, and raise and issue Inspection Work Sheets (IWS) for in-kind replacements or repair works.
- Direct situations requiring design changes (covered by MOC Procedure) to Engineering Section Inspection & Corrosion Engineers for investigation and action.
- Direct the Mechanical Inspector in the assigned Field Inspection Unit to implement planned Integrity Inspection Programs, perform external and internal inspections on static equipment, gather required inspection and corrosion data, document the inspection findings, and review them before entering into the IDMS Database.
Minimum Requirements:
- Lead Inspector with High School diploma and 15 years of Refinery/Petrochemical Plant Field Inspection Experience, or a Diploma with 14 years of work experience in an operating refinery or petrochemical plant attached to the Field Inspection Unit is mandatory.• Knowledge and experience in integrity inspections, applicable Codes & Standards, Optimization of NDT, Inspection Planning, and Emergency Response Experience are required.• Fair knowledge of Unit Operations, Hazardous Materials, MSDS, and Equipment Internal Configurations is required.
- Petrochemical Experience.
- Plant in-service experience; API 510 / 570 / 653 (any two) is mandatory, and NDT Level 2 in UT, PT, RT, MPT.
