A fun summer program for 7th and 8th graders to learn about ecology, genetics, chemistry, bioengineering, and more.Sign-up Information

Ages: 12 to 14.

Grades: 6th grade through 8th grade.

This program is for students who will be in 7th and 8th grade in September after the program ends.

Cost

A registration fee of $500. A $250 non-refundable reservation fee is required upon registration. You may opt to pay the full amount of $500 during initial registration.

This program runs during the summer.

Both sessions are typically from 9 AM to 2:30 PM (*The program will end by 1:00 p.m. each Friday)

• Session I: July 7-18, 2025
• Session II: August 11-22, 2025

Additional Information

Through hands-on activities, laboratory modules, and discussions with scientists, rising 7th and 8th-grade middle school students will learn how methods from ecology, genetics, chemistry, and bioengineering are used to answer some of the most challenging questions in the life sciences today—and have an awful lot of fun doing it!
