Position Overview

We are seeking a Materials and Supply Chain Manager at our East Aurora site to lead the Materials and Supply Chain functions, focusing on improving efficiency in materials planning, purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics. This role reports to the Operations Manager and oversees the Actuation portion of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall materials and supply chain operations to meet site, group, and corporate goals.
• Collaborate with cross-campus supply chain organizations and establish clear processes and policies for continuous improvement.
• Align materials and supply chain functions with the overall strategy for WNY Site Operations.

• Proven leadership skills, including staff development and succession planning.
• Experience leading cross-functional process improvements within Moog and with suppliers.
• Ability to adopt new technologies and innovative approaches.
• Support sales efforts by collaborating with business development and addressing delivery issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management and supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Strategic thinking considering capacity, materials, and facilities constraints.
• Ability to balance inventory investment with production flow.

Salary Range

Buffalo, NY: $90,000 - $125,000 annually

The salary range is indicative and varies based on experience, location, and performance. Additional benefits include bonuses, stock plans, paid time off, and region-specific perks.
