Salary:

$135,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Description

The Judge Group is seeking a Logistics / Fleet Manager for our client in their New Orleans (or Baton Rouge, LA) area operations. The qualified individual will have 5+ years managing a team of drivers and dispatchers in construction, demolition, waste hauling, or other heavy industry.

Compensation:

$135k to 150k plus bonus (Relocation offered to the right candidate).

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
• 5+ years managing a team of drivers and dispatchers
• P&L experience (Rent, Lease, Buy trucks)
• Multi-site logistics experience
• Reside in New Orleans, LA or Baton Rouge, LA

Responsibilities:

• Oversee transportation across the Southeast
• Manage P&L responsibility
• Create efficiencies and drive cost savings
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
• Manage expenses
• Drive the safety culture
• Oversee 30 drivers, 5 dispatchers, and outside contractors
• Maintain staffing levels
• Manage dispatching, routing, and tracking of all assets
• Maintain relationships with 3PL trucking contractors and specialized haulers
• Oversee the fleet maintenance program
• Report to senior leadership on P&L

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline
• 5+ years managing a team of drivers and dispatchers
• P&L experience (Rent, Lease, Buy trucks)
• Routing experience
• Multi-site logistics experience
