Compensation Range:

$126,258.00 - $163,610.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual salaries will be set within this range based on various factors.

Responsibilities:GENERAL SUMMARY

Plans and directs operations to increase the number of transplantable organs and tissues throughout the region. Works with management to recruit, train, and supervise organ recovery personnel. Ensures compliance with regulations. Acts as a clinical liaison with transplant programs. Initiates and monitors programs to maximize organ yield and tissue recovery. Contributes to strategic planning and policy development.

Essential Functions:

• Establishes goals and monitors donation processes for optimal outcomes.
• Builds collaborative relationships with programs and hospitals to enhance donation efforts.
• Guides hospital development programs and develops strategic plans.
• Ensures clinical activities meet standards and legal requirements, updating policies as needed.
• Oversees hiring, training, and supervision of clinical staff, ensuring competency.
• Collaborates with quality assurance to analyze data and improve systems.
• Evaluates new technologies to improve organ recovery and transplantation.
• Presents educational topics and supports professional development.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field and 5 years of critical care or organ procurement experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret industry-related journals, reports, and legal documents.
• Respond effectively to inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to produce reports and articles in proper style.

Licenses and Certifications:

• ABTC Certification upon hire required.
