What You Will Be DoingWe are currently seeking a dedicated Aircraft technician to join our dynamic team, focusing on the F-22 aircraft. This position is located out of Langley Air Force Base, VA. This pivotal role involves a broad spectrum of responsibilities. Some of the job requirements & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Service, repairs, and overhauls F-22 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness.
- Repair, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems. Incorporate engineering changes.
- Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components.
- Adjust, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories
- Read and interpret F-22 engineering drawings, technical manuals, electrical systems, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes
- Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.
- Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationship of circuits.
- Perform such tasks as making circuit analyzes, and tracing relationships in signal flow.
- Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.
- During periods of non electrical work, application of Low Observable material/SAS maintenance, or other TCTO's is required or such as directed.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.
