The position of Retail Solutions Specialist involves traveling to retail locations to support training and maintenance of our product line. This role acts as a liaison between the Retail Solutions department and internal customers, training store personnel and lottery reps after SCiQ store installation, conducting site surveys, maintaining retail equipment, and ensuring smooth installation processes.
The individual will also assist with research, analytics, and operations activities.
Principal Functions & Responsibilities:
Work in retail environments such as gas stations, c-stores, grocery stores, liquor stores, drug stores, mass merchandise, and dollar stores.Organize and train store managers and clerks on lottery equipment.Serve as a liaison between Retail Solutions, lottery, retail, and internal customers.Assist with SCiQ project rollout, including store pre-sites, documentation, and system staging.Complete surveys with photos and details from store visits.Review pre-implementation documentation for accuracy during installs.Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions and product presentations.Monitor training effectiveness and suggest improvements.Maintain knowledge of SG system functionalities and present system opportunities.Provide high-tier support to field questions and concerns.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product functionality.Support site sales and support goals across departments.Adapt to a fast-paced environment.Use and maintain tools, test equipment, and supplies responsibly.Communicate problems to management.Troubleshoot and repair lottery equipment as per protocols.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills, Training, and Experience:
- 1-3 years in retail and/or sales.
- 1-3 years of lottery experience.
- Ability to multitask with accuracy and focus on end-user needs.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Ability to travel via air, vehicle, or other means.
- Sit, stand, and move frequently, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Travel to customer locations up to 80% of the time.
- Analyze statistical data and learn new technologies quickly.
Physical & Work Conditions:
The physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, and handling equipment, with lifting requirements up to 50 pounds occasionally.
