Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Experience: 3-5 years of experience providing program management services within a program management office (PMO).
Position Summary:
The APEO for Logistics will be responsible for management, administration, and implementation of organizational policy, processes, and procedures associated with PEO managed systems and equipment across all logistics elements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- The APEO Logistics is responsible for the management and supervision of APM Logistics and PSMs supporting the program offices. Serves as the principal logistics counsel to the PEO and ED, and is responsible for ILS management for all PEO programs throughout their life cycle.
- The APEO Logistics serves as the agent for executing a Competency Aligned Organization (CAO) for product support.
- Process logistics focused data calls leveraging:
- PEO C4I “Action Tracker”: Traditional email encompassing the 5Ws (Who, What, When, Where, and Why)
- Provide a suspense reminder on their MS Outlook calendars.
- Coordinate and support in-person and hybrid meetings, including meeting preparation, meeting minutes, and tracking subsequent actions.
- Semi-weekly “ILS Lashup” meetings (M, W) with meeting minutes issued to the APEO-L OneNote.
- Document and brief development, as needed.
- Maintain updates to the APEO-L SharePoint site.
- Maintain accesses to the APEO-L SharePoint site and associated Teams.
- Provide routine assistance to PSMs | APM-Ls, as needed (e.g., created instructions to assist in understanding how to access NSWC Corona metrics website and posted on APEO-L Homepage).

Location and Work Environment:
Primary Work Location: San Diego, CA.
Travel: Ability to travel as required for conferences, stakeholder meetings, and organizational events.
