Position Summary: The Director of Operations – International will lead and oversee the operations of all designated Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining restaurants, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, and alignment with the brand's ambitious standards. This executive leader will collaborate cross-functionally with culinary, marketing, HR, and development teams to support strategic growth, elevate global brand consistency, and drive operational excellence across multiple countries and cultures.

*Note: This position can be based in either Los Angeles, CA or Las Vegas, NV with the willingness to travel internationally.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Oversee designated domestic and international restaurant operations, providing vision, direction, and leadership to General Managers and their teams across diverse markets.
  • Brand Stewardship:
  • Ensure consistent execution of Wolfgang Puck's culinary and service philosophies across all international properties. Serve as brand ambassador in global markets.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Implement and uphold SOPs, service standards, and financial goals in line with fine dining expectations. Identify and solve operational challenges with precision and innovation.
  • Performance Management:
  • Lead operational reviews and business analyses to evaluate P&L performance, guest satisfaction, labor and cost efficiencies, and overall KPIs.
  • Talent Development:
  • Attract, retain, and mentor top-tier hospitality talent. Foster a people-first culture that supports internal growth and employee engagement across all locations.
  • New Openings & Growth:
  • Collaborate with Development and Culinary teams to support international expansion and successful new restaurant openings, including pre-opening training and systems setup.
  • Cross-Cultural Expertise:
  • Navigate varying cultural, regulatory, and business norms to optimize operations and build relationships in each international market.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations:
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships with local suppliers, hotel partners, and licensing entities where applicable.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to local health, safety, labor, and regulatory compliance in each region of operation.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of restaurant management experience
  • 3+ years in multi-unit leadership in full-service, high-volume restaurant operations
  • Proven leadership in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or premium lifestyle restaurant brands.
  • Deep understanding of global food and beverage trends, with an ability to adapt brand excellence to local markets.
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets, driving revenue, and optimizing profitability across multiple units.
  • Initiative-taking with a positive and professional approach to management
  • Experience leading new restaurant openings and scaling high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong cultural intelligence and sensitivity to diverse international markets.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% internationally.
