JOB SUMMARY:

This role supports the Flight Operation Departments at Textron Aviation, including Demonstration, Production Flight Test, and Pro-Ownership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain familiarity with all applicable FAA and ICAO regulations, and comply with all regulations and local operating procedures.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of aircraft models, systems, avionics, equipment, options, product changes, and updates.
  • Attend required training, including initial and recurrent aircraft training, emergency procedures, crew coordination, international procedures, and other relevant training.
  • Perform office tasks such as expense reports, flight logs, international planning, and updates to flight manuals and approach plates.
  • Act as a flight and ground instructor for customers transitioning to G1000 and G2000 flight decks and for those in the Single Engine Recurrent Training course.
  • Exercise flights as needed and support sales demonstration flights and marketing efforts.
  • Adhere to and support Flight Operations policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Communicate noteworthy issues to department personnel.
  • Prioritize safety in all operations at all times.
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Science or a related field.
    • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument rating and Single/Multi-Engine Land ratings.
    • FAA Second Class medical or better, with the ability to obtain a First Class medical.
    • FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) and Flight Instructor Instrument Certificate (CFII).
    • 2000 flight hours and 1000 hours of multi-engine time preferred.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • US Passport or ability to obtain one required.
    • FAA Multi-Engine Instructor Rating (MEI) preferred.
    • FAA Complex and High-performance endorsements preferred.
    • Previous classroom experience as a ground instructor preferred.
    • Familiarity with digital/glass flight decks preferred.
    • Valid driver's license required.
