3-8 years of experience is ideal (to mold and grow within the team), but we will consider a 10+ years (non-jumpy) solid candidate.
Risk Experience is a huge plus but not mandatory. The contractor must have strong programming skills. If the candidate is junior, they must have an interest in finance.
Required skills include C# GUI/S.S. with some Java, strong multi-threading, and Web services - XML and JMS are a big plus because there may be projects building out GUI.
