Job Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the deliveryof reports, dashboards, business needs and analytic specifications for Crystal RunHealthcare. These specifications will directly result in solutionsthat support financial and operational decision making processes across theenterprise. The BI Analyst will work with end users to determine stakeholderrequirements and translate them into the appropriate specifications. TheBI Analyst will work closely with the architectural and development teams to assurethe written specifications are understood and applied appropriately.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather report requirements and understand Crystal Run Healthcare'sstrategic goals and ensure request is in alignment with these goals.
• Critically evaluate information gathered frommultiple sources.
• Decompose high-level information intodetails.
• Distinguish user requests from the underlyingtrue needs.
• Provide creative solutions to problems.
• Ability to decompose stakeholders needs into well-structureddocumented requirements and specification. All documentation will beaccording to standard templates.
• Present alternative BI solutions for customer, using creative-thinkingexpertise and solution prototypes, to ensure effective reporting/analysis.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills and the ability to interact professionally with adiverse group that includes clinicians, management, and subject matterexperts.
• Ability to workindependently to provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating,and developing specifications and procedures that meet user requirements
• Successfully engage inmultiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Interviewing stakeholders,facilitating workgroups, prototyping process flows and business rules.

• Business requirements gathering, which describe the higher-levelneeds of the organization as a whole.

• Solution requirements gathering, which describe features,functions, and characteristics of the product, service, or result that willmeet the business and stakeholder requirements.This includes functional requirements that describe the behaviors of theproduct and non-functional requirements that describe the environmentalconditions or qualities required for the product to be effective.

BI Data Analysis and Design:

• Based on User Requirements Documentation, collaborate with thedevelopment team and subject matter experts to define solutions to developthe architecture of the selected reporting solution.
• Work with development team to design and develop high performingdata solutions which meet the needs satisfy the BI requirements.
• Design creative BI components for the delivery of dashboards,scorecards, delivered reports, ad hoc queries, extracts and analyticsusing the MS Suite of tools, QlikView, as well as other platforms.
• Create QA test cases/test steps to ensure quality assurance of BIoutput.
• Work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing and acomplete delivery of reporting/analysis solution.
• Responsible for QA testing the entire solution to ensure that it isready for user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

JOBREQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree incomputer science, information systems or engineering
• Experience with development lifecycle methodology, healthcarespecific environment
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle and related QAprocesses.
• Exposure to healthcare business concepts
• Excellent written and oralcommunication skills
• Experience in revenue cycle, generalledger and physician compensationstrongly preferred
• Experience in the process of determining, documenting, and managingstakeholder needs and requirements to meet stated goals and objectives.
