As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing and enhancing our production processes with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will leverage your deep technical expertise - including experience in rail systems, traction, and electric motors - to support the entire product lifecycle, from release to manufacturing through end-of-life.

Your innovations and problem-solving will directly impact productivity, material utilization, and the successful launch of new product lines.

Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes

  • Reduce standard labor hours by 5% through process optimization initiatives.
  • Complete operator training for new programs within targeted production volumes.
  • Achieve a 10% reduction in production costs by improving material utilization and minimizing waste within one year.
  • Successfully launch a new product line, reaching full production readiness and ramp-up within three months.
  • Mechanical Engineering Expertise: Proven ability to apply advanced mechanical engineering principles to manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on systems used in rail, traction, and electric motors.
  • Rail Industry Experience: Hands-on experience in manufacturing or engineering roles involving rail systems, traction systems, or electric motors is essential.
  • Technical Design Proficiency: Skilled in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and able to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
  • Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Capable of quickly diagnosing issues on the production floor and implementing effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead multiple concurrent projects, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
