As a Banner Database Administrator at Collegis, you will be a key contributor in the planning, analysis, coordination, support, and maintenance of multiple Ellucian Banner environments and associated components. The supported ecosystem includes technologies such as Oracle, Banner 9, Automic, BDMS, ESM, Ethos, eTranscripts, Degree Works, ODS, Touchnet, and Workflow. The Banner DBA will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle-based technologies and any required technologies in support of Banner and its components. You will be critical in the coordination of physical and logical changes to enterprise databases and applications. The Banner DBA may also serve as a main point of contact between the database group and functional users; serve as the main point of contact for integrations with outside entities and technical support resources; support the Director - IT Enterprise Systems in the execution of all principal functions of the IT Enterprise Systems group. Candidates should be highly proactive and driven to continuously improve the consistency and quality of the services provided to customers.

Remote/Hybrid Policy: This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote environment. However, in alignment with our commitment to collaboration and team engagement, candidates within a 60-mile radius of our Chicago, IL headquarters will be expected to follow a hybrid schedule, working onsite 1-2 days per week to support in-person connection and cross-functional partnership.
