Overall Purpose of the Job: Regional product line technical position supporting sales and operations for projects involving engineered Cementing Technologies and downhole service tools, including coordination of all available resources domestically and internationally.
Key Activities and Accountabilities:
Learn and become familiar with all equipment in the Cementing Technologies product line, including building, testing, and operating the equipment. This may involve shop observations and rig visits.Provide technical support to senior applications engineers, sales, and operations, including simulations, design calculations, system layouts, and procedures.Collaborate with sales representatives and customers to identify needs, specifications, and potential product modifications.Review customer requirements and specifications, and make recommendations for technical and commercial proposals.Serve as a technical liaison with clients and internal departments across North and Latin America.Advise on technical issues affecting services and products, and support the turnover process upon receiving purchase orders.Inform customers about technological improvements and product advantages, and follow up on customer satisfaction.Assist with customer complaints and issues, and identify product and service needs within Expro's portfolio.Adhere to company policies, including the Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery, Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental policies.Meet objectives set in the Employee Development Plan.Job Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical or operational role, preferably in well construction products/services in Oil and Gas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-aided engineering software (e.g., SolidWorks, Hydraulics modeling).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio is a plus.
- Satisfactory pre-employment screening results.
