Job Summary: The Security Associate greets, welcomes, and assists patients, visitors, employees, and guests at Women & Infants Hospital. The incumbent will escort patients, visitors, and guests around the hospital or campus, providing directions as needed. Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills when handling situations with staff, patients, and guests. Assists with notifying patient discharges using the teletracking system. Maintains a professional image and discretion while performing duties. May perform other related receptionist and clerical duties as assigned.
Specifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary. Bilingual ability is strongly preferred. If hired after 1/1/2010, familiarity with computer programs is required.
