Overview
The Project Finance Senior Credit Analyst will assist the Project Finance Portfolio Management team in underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management of clients where loan repayment is based on cash flows generated by projects in power, energy, renewables, or solar sectors.
Responsibilities
- Assist Portfolio Managers in underwriting and managing transactions according to the Bank's guidelines and policies.
- Evaluate various transaction types across power markets and energy sectors, analyzing borrowers, counterparties, and developing cash flow models.
- Develop and manage financial models analyzing the economics and risks of project financing structures.
- Support Depository Agency services, including wire transfers and inquiries.
- Monitor credit and covenant compliance continuously.
- Manage the renewal process, working with Portfolio Managers, clients, and the credit department for credit line increases, amendments, and covenant waivers.
- Ensure compliance with EWB regulatory and credit policies.
- Oversee portfolio administration and risk management following established policies and guidelines.
- Review legal documentation for accuracy and compliance with approval requirements.
- Perform administrative duties related to maintaining client portfolios as assigned.
- Maintain knowledge of market developments in relevant sectors.

- Strong understanding of project finance, especially in power, energy, renewables, and solar sectors.
- Ability to analyze and advise on complex financial structures.

- Proficiency in Excel.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is required; an MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of five years of experience in project finance or related fields.
Compensation
The base pay range for this position is USD $67,000.00 to USD $95,000.00 per year. Exact offers will depend on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
