The PSRC Director of Billing is responsible for overseeing the coding and prior-authorization processes within the Professional Services Revenue Cycle department. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of coding regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and compliance standards. The PSRC Director of Billing will ensure that accurate coding practices are implemented and maintained while optimizing the prior authorization process to improve efficiency and revenue cycle performance.
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience in revenue cycle management; Direct working knowledge of professional Revenue Cycle operations and management of healthcare financial operations (e.g., hospital-based billing, insurance collections, payer relations)
Additional Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening and openness to ideas. Ability to present data and translate complex issues into understandable concepts. Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally to drive organizational change.
