Job Description:
Purpose of the Position:
This role is responsible for the operational and tactical oversight and monitoring of university-wide activities to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations.
Qualification & Experience:
MPhil / MS / MSc / MA degree in social sciences and related fields.A minimum of 20 years of experience in a public organization is required. At least 12 years of experience in government relations, public administration, preferably in a university or government training institution.10-12 years of teaching experience in a public or private academic institution.Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Oversight:Oversee the implementation of policies across the university to ensure compliance with requisite regulations.Develop monitoring systems to report and track university activities in line with institutional and regulatory guidelines.Provide recommendations to senior leadership on improving processes to facilitate smoother functions at NUST.Compliance:Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks by collaborating with internal departments and align their activities with NUST policies.Knowledge/Skills/Certifications:
Proficiency in developing and managing systems to monitor institutional processes, ensuring adherence to internal and external policies.Strong understanding of government processes, funding mechanisms, and public policy.Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in reports & proposals.Terms & Conditions:
