Overview
CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Analyst III opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.
Location: Buffalo, NYDuration: 12 months
Overview:The Infrastructure Analyst III will be responsible for activities related to complex system hardware and software installations, configuration, operation, and maintenance, along with related infrastructure. This role ensures adherence to organizational values, enabling staff and partners to effectively utilize technology.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve help desk escalations based on incident outcomes.
- Create trending information of system issues to support problem resolution through analysis.
- Develop and document procedures for work orders and requests.
- Resolve technical incidents requiring advanced problem-solving; analyze and isolate issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Perform system maintenance following SOPs, including patching, health checks, and OS updates.
- Schedule maintenance to mitigate operational risk.
- Participate in project work; lead technical teams and contribute to design efforts.
- Coach less experienced staff on processes and technologies.
- Complete scheduled evening responsibilities.
- Document procedures for maintenance and other tasks.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Adhere to risk, regulatory standards, policies, and controls; escalate issues as needed.
- Promote an inclusive environment reflecting the company brand.
- Maintain internal controls, ensure audit compliance, and address regulatory issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Scope of Responsibilities:Work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure system performance and support organizational goals.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:May lead technical teams and mentor staff.
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum 6 years of higher education and/or relevant experience.
- Ability to interpret technical information.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience communicating technical info within teams and management.
- Customer-focused with multitasking ability.
Additional Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
- Minimum 7 years of higher education and/or relevant experience.
- Certifications in related technologies preferred.
Excellent English communication skills required for professional interaction.
