Starting Salary: $83,052.00

Under direction, coordinates and manages the in-house and external repairs of damaged city vehicles (i.e., automotive, trucking and heavy-duty off-road equipment), and performs related duties as required

Days:Monday - Friday
Hours:8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
THIS POSITION IS EXEMPT FROM THE CAREER SERVICE
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Four years of vehicle accident adjustment or automotive repair and maintenance work experience of which two years are in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
NOTE:A valid State of Illinois driver's license is required.
NOTE:Must be flexible to early and/or late meetings.
NOTE:This is a 24/7 on-call position based on operational needs.
NOTE:Must be available to work regular work schedule and be available for on-call duty assignments
that may include evenings, overnight, weekend and/or holiday hours.
