Job Description
TechINT Solutions Group is looking for motivated individuals to operate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) remotely piloted vehicles (RPVs), ground stations, and payloads. Responsibilities include gathering intelligence for mission planning, building and fabricating COTS remote-controlled vehicles, and configuring flight controllers for waypoint missions.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Experience instructing large groups of personnel in a military environment.
- Experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing aircraft, including hobbyist UAS experience.
- Must obtain a Certified FAA UAS PART 107 Pilot License.
- Experience with all RPV types (land, air, sea) and ability to design/fabricate with limited instructions or pre-built kits.
- Ability to research emerging RPV technologies, describe their advantages, and assess their impact on DoD capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and automation tools supporting analytical efforts.
- Ability to work independently and interact with various organizations and military units.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Experience
Junior Level
- BA/BS with 0-3 years experience or
- Associates degree plus 4 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree).
- No degree with 6 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree).
Journeyman Level
- BA/BS with 3-10 years experience or
- Associates degree plus 4 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree).
- No degree with 6 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree).
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Group 2+/3 UAS, specifically Penguin B and Penguin C platforms.
- Manned pilot experience.
- Ability to interpret aeronautical charts.
- Experience with air traffic control communication and coordination.
- Knowledge of UAS components and flight control software such as PixHawk, Dragon Link, RC Transmitters, Mission Planner, etc.
