Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • Certifications: Microsoft SharePoint AND Microsoft SharePoint Online AND Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (current MS-offered equivalent is acceptable). DCWF Code 451 Advanced: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+) or Federal IT Security Professional-Operator-NG (FITSP-O) or GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) or GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • Possess and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Entry level experience with Knowledge Management processes and methodologies, including organizational studies and evaluations, system design and procedures, work simplification, and measurement studies
  • Excellent process-oriented organizational skills to ensure a well-organized repository and pipeline of content for review and upload
  • Demonstrated open communication and effective collaboration with team members and supervisors to enable continuous performance improvement

Role Description:

The Knowledge Management (KM) Section is responsible for enabling knowledge flow to enhance shared understanding, learning, and decision-making across the GCC. The KM section develops, executes, and monitors the GCC KM Program. It conducts Content and Information Management, and Records Management, utilizing tools such as ARIMS, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive, and other cloud and on-premises solutions, in line with Army doctrine. The KM Section comprises the KM Working Group (KMWG), with representatives from each GCC division, led by the KM Officer (KMO). All GCC KM efforts are overseen by the GCC Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO), the Deputy Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-level support in developing documents for current and planned capabilities, including application development in SharePoint across all NETCOM managed DoDIN-A environments. Review internally developed requirements documents and report findings to the Government.
  • Design, develop, and implement SharePoint portals supporting NETCOM-wide business processes and information sharing requirements.
  • Design, develop, and implement automated workflows based on Government requirements.
  • Design and develop websites, web pages, web parts, and custom list solutions per Government requirements.
  • Maintain the web services and SharePoint testing environment sandbox.
