Job Description :

Overview Responsible for providing Facility Security Office (FSO) and Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) functions as part of the Vectrus Security team. Assists with the day-to-day management, administration and coordination of DOD or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Works on assignments which range from simple to complex in nature. Initiative, sound judgement, and excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required for this position. Responsibilities Use of security databases, such as DISS/NBIS and SIMS. Familiarization with DoD guidance, 32 CFR Part 117, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), DD254s, and additional access caveats, such as SAP, SCI, CNWDI, RD, FRD, and NATO Assist with documenting and submitting security incidents to appropriate government agencies Develop and manage annual security refresher, insider threat and information security training to include preparing necessary documentation in support of government agency security reviews Develop and maintain effective “Document Inventory and Control Program” for management of classified systems, media and documents. Maintain all security documentation and files in accordance with government requirements Conduct SCI, SAP, and DoD processing of personnel security applications for perspective candidates and employees. Determine whether subjects of investigation can be granted reciprocity by a completed investigation from another agency Advise personnel of their reporting requirements, both personal/administrative and compliance/incident-related reports Handle sensitive inquires made by internal and external customers and employees Conduct annual self-inspection and review of security processes to ensure compliance with government requirements Provide physical security inspections of all spaces that process and store classified information, warehouses, plant rooms, and any other room or facility to perform mission or support function Work with applicants and points of contact (Security, HR, Program) on case issues Assists managers with the policies, instructions, procedures, control systems and methods for such activities and functions as safeguarding and use; personnel access controls; need to know criteria; physical storage and control; and transmitting, transferring, reproducing, emergency protection and removal, destroying of classified information Provide security direction and guidance to employees and programs for compliance with company, U.S. Government, Foreign Government, ITAR and Export Compliance Ensure security records are maintained, accessible, and reviewed & analyzed in accordance with company and government procedures Respond to telephone or written inquiries on complex matters, pending case questions, and status requests Follow-up on correspondence from both internal and external customers requiring review, approval and /or response Maintain facility clearance and accreditations to include subordinate facilities Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials which involve the use of Microsoft Office. Assist with routine and non-routine administrative requirements on project/program related efforts Protects against security vulnerabilities that will exist during the development processes as well as those that will require preventive measures Perform other related duties as required Perform other clerical support such as photocopying, faxing, material assembly, filing documents, etc Serve as the primary or alternate COMSEC Custodian Material & Equipment Directly Used Customer databases Security Information Management System (SIMS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Microsoft Office products and other general office equipment. Computer and peripheral devices. Qualifications • Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience Must be a United States Citizen Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility U.S. Government FSO Certification. Thorough working knowledge on managing prime / subcontract DD-254 forms (Contract Security Classification Specifications) and the National Industrial Security System (NISS). Must have a working knowledge of the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Must have a working knowledge of the Security Information Management System (SIMS) or Access Commander • Experience: 5+ years of industrial security experience with at least 3 years in an FSO/AFSO and/or management role • Skills: Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment. Experience interpreting and administering security doctrine, provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommends modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Works well in a team environment. Ability to develop, implement, manage industrial security processes and policies.
