Job Overview
We are seeking a Director, Analytics to support Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM). This role involves overseeing marketing analytics across web, CRM, paid media, and more, collaborating with the broader Marketing Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, precise, and capable of translating raw data into strategic insights and optimization strategies.
Responsibilities
Manage analytics tasks related to MSIM marketing efforts, including web, CRM, and paid media; guide overall marketing analytics strategy to link impact with business growth.Partner with the Firmwide Marketing Analytics team to ensure MSIM is integrated into enterprise reporting.Develop measurement frameworks for MSIM marketing activities, translating business objectives into KPIs.Implement tagging strategies and attribution solutions to support measurement frameworks.Support data pipeline launches to enhance ROI analysis.Create tailored reports for various audiences, from detailed analyses for teams to executive insights.Collaborate with audience and external agency teams to manage and activate first-party data, contributing to segmentation strategies.Validate ongoing data capture, ensuring proper tagging and data quality.Work closely with Technology stakeholders for implementation and data validation.Standardize and automate marketing analytics structures and dashboards.Develop Test & Learn frameworks in partnership with stakeholders.Minimum Qualifications
- 5-8 years in data & analytics roles, preferably within financial services or asset management.
- Expertise in Adobe Analytics and dashboard creation.
- Knowledge of LiveRamp and first-party data management.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to develop cross-team relationships.
- Analytical mindset with ability to derive insights from raw data.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for data validation.
- Resourcefulness and independent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in industry trends, measurement platforms, attribution solutions, and data privacy regulations.
