Director of Network and Systems Administration (PA)The Director of Network and Systems Administration serves on the Information Technology (IT) leadership team and provides leadership, supervision, and coordination for central IT systems and clients. The Director supervises a team of server and infrastructure personnel, and has oversight of IT projects implemented within their area. The Director manages and coordinates IT installations for all building projects, renovations, expansions, and capital projects, as well as participates on budget and lifecycle maintenance plans for technology equipment for the college.

Qualifications:Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field plus four years' supervisory experience.Special Skills: Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required. Ability to work effectively as a leader and team member required. Experience with managing network equipment (i.e., firewalls, switches, routers), windows servers and systems (i.e., Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint) required.
Knowledge of business operations in higher education, including project management and budget management preferred. Experience with LDAP, Single Sign On, Identity Management systems, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework preferred.

Benefits and salary range:Competitive starting salary in the range of $75,000 to $90,000 and is commensurate with qualifications. NYS retirement or Optional SUNY Retirement Program.
