Position InformationThe Affiliate Site Coordinator will serve as the faculty site program coordinator for specific UCR School of Medicine(SOM) clerkships at a clinical affiliate as part of the UCR SOM Undergraduate Medical Education Program (UME), a distributed medical education program of the University of California. Serve as the central faculty and staff contact as the site coordinator for medical students at the clinical site within specified clerkships of the UCR SOM. The coordinator will manage the aspects of scheduling, onboarding & training for medical students through clinical clerkships. Ensure the maintenance of institutional policies and communication between UCR SOM & the clerkship site. Will serve as the liaison between UCR SOM, clinical sites, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation, documentation, and coordination between UME activities for medical students. The primary location for this role will be a clinical affiliate site in Riverside, CA, with occasional meetings at the UCR campus. The full salary range for this position is from $31,518.36 - $47,940.48 at working 50% part time. The expected salary range is up to $38,530.16 annually at 50% part time. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

  • Demonstrates professional behavior by exhibiting sound work habits, having thorough knowledge of policies/procedures, employing proper communication between programs and departments.
  • Ability to multi task
  • Ability to be self sufficient and be guided/supervised remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of health professions education industry.
