Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate dining facility staff, assigning tasks and providing guidance for smooth operations and service quality.
- Train and instruct staff on customer service, complaint resolution, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory, and waste reduction to optimize efficiency and control costs.
- Conduct training for new and current employees on safety, service protocols, and job-specific tasks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and university policies for a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in food service, showcasing leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to enhance the dining experience for staff and customers.
- Proficiency in dining facility operations, including food prep, service standards, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Aptitude for problem-solving, decision-making, and maintaining smooth operations.
- Adaptability in managing staff and operations within a fast-paced dining environment, handling changing priorities and diverse situations.
