SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced NOC Network Analyst to support the US Army Reserve Command at Ft. Bragg, NC. This contract provides technical support and solutions to meet our customer's enterprise IT objectives.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility is to ensure customers receive professional service and prompt responses to their needs. You will perform Tier II monitoring and initial triage in a WAN/LAN network environment that typically links to various computer platforms, operating systems, and network topologies. You will support 24x7 Floor Operations, handle Incident Management tickets, respond to trouble calls/emails from customers, and perform break-fix tasks for network devices. Work may be required on all shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

  • Respond to and perform Tier I and Tier II triage of network alarms
  • Create customer trouble tickets for outages identified via network management systems and tools
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting using CLI to restore downed network devices
  • Utilize CISCO Client to restore connectivity to endpoints
  • Test and isolate physical circuit issues using telecommunication tools
  • Manage Telco Local Loop and customer in-house wiring
  • Coordinate with LECs on loop acceptance
  • Test and repair hardware issues within the customer WAN/LAN environment
  • Coordinate multiple vendor dispatches for repairs at customer premises
  • Proactively monitor customer networks using management tools to identify anomalies and faults within the USARC network
  • Utilize tools such as Computer Associates (CA) Service Desk, CA Spectrum, Aruba, and NetQos
Qualifications
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center or network engineer role
  • Alternatively, an AA degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
  • In-depth network troubleshooting experience with routers, switches, and wireless access points
  • Experience with network transport and multiplexing
  • Ability to perform testing and diagnostics on vendor equipment and circuits, and monitor alarms per standards
  • Experience with network management tools, 802.1x solutions, and customer ticketing systems

Certifications:

  • CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or equivalent
  • CCNP Security Certification (REQUIRED)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable but not required
Working Conditions
