We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic IT Service Specialist I who will:

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone or email.
  • Provide setup and maintenance support for desktops, laptops, and VoIP phones.
  • Install and configure workstations for new users and relocate equipment as needed.
  • Install and configure Windows OS, endpoint security, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and guide users through problem resolution.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Update inventory and support information regularly.
  • Gather user feedback for IT improvements.
  • Support new applications and assist with testing and rollout.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Participate in projects to implement new IT solutions.
  • Provide training and documentation for applications and systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to IT service management process improvements.
  • Communicate support status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent plus three years of community-related experience, or
    • Equivalent education/experience as above.
    Preferred Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA A+) are a plus.
    • Experience in application support, especially in level 1 support roles.
    • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and software applications.
    • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
    • Experience working with vendors and internal teams.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
