School Aide Position

Salary: $585/Week

Amergis Staffing is currently seeking School Aide for the 2025/26 school year in the Santa Maria, CA area. Position details: must have at least 1 year of experience working with kids. Schedule: Monday - Friday. Hours/Week: 32.5 hours. Daily start date: 8/14/2025. Length: 25/26 school year. Pay rate: $18.00.

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
