Join Our Team as a Part-Time Before/After School Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, fun, and rewarding environment? Join us at the YMCA of Greater Toledo as a part-time Before/After School Teacher for school-age children!

We are currently hiring for the fall when school begins again for our sites across Toledo, Sylvania, Perrysburg, and Maumee.

In this role, you'll lead hands-on activities, provide mentorship, and help create a safe, engaging space where kids can learn and grow. It's a great opportunity to jumpstart your career in childcare — all while earning a competitive hourly wage of $12.50–$15.00.

What You'll Do

• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive
• Lead developmentally appropriate activities that support learning and growth
• Build positive relationships and serve as a role model
• Work collaboratively with teammates and communicate effectively with families

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma
• Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices
• Willingness to complete required trainings (CPR, First Aid, etc.)
• Friendly, dependable, and passionate about working with youth
• Ability to meet DCY licensing requirements, including background checks
