Behavioral Health Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Behavioral Health Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide supervision to behavioral health staff within assigned site(s) and coordinate effective patient care.
- Advise best practices for assigned site(s) teams for behavioral health interventions, aligned to scientific guidelines and internal policies & procedures.
- Evaluate treatment plans, documentation, and services provided by the behavioral health team and provide feedback and education as necessary.
- Provide administrative program support for site operations with local and state regulators.
- Patient Care Enablement:
- Ensure staff coverage and scheduling is appropriate to meet patient needs.
- Timely review and completion of supervision and documentation.
- Model and cover counseling or therapy interventions as necessary.
- Performance Management:
- Regularly monitor and review metrics and dashboards to manage team and individual performance.
- Ensure teams meet performance, efficiency and patient experience expectations in a compliant and timely manner.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards and expectations for self and all staff under scope of responsibility.
- Conduct performance reviews and ongoing performance management for the on-site behavioral health team.
- Training and Onboarding:
- Ensure completion and adherence to onboarding and training modules for behavioral health new hires across assigned sites.
- Assist in implementing policies, workflows, and trainings for behavioral health staff.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner closely with site Center Directors on patient care and caseload management, behavioral health staffing, and personnel management.
- Participate in and facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings with operations, nursing and medical teams.
- Participate in and occasionally lead department meetings and in-services.

- Competency in individual & group counseling and case management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Competent and empathetic, capable of working with a diverse population of colleagues and patients.
- Team-player, able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Adaptable and agile within a dynamic work environment
Qualifications
- Experience
- Required
- 5+ years' experience in a related field.
- Preferred
- 1+ years' experience as a Therapist at BrightView, or relevant experience.
- Prior supervisions experience.
- Education
- Required
- Consistent with state-level regulation and requirements, at minimum a Master's Degree
- Preferred
- Master's Degree
Licenses and Certifications
- Required
- Active licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements, at minimum independently licensed with supervision designation
