The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Enterprise System Architect Cybersecurity. The Enterprise System Architect Cybersecurity creates, maintains, and manages IT architecture models and their lower level components. Interprets, uses, and applies information contained within IT architecture to inform a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of IT support systems. Ensures that proposed and existing systems architectures are aligned with UHS organizational goals and objectives in order to ensure full operation and availability of systems in accordance with sound information systems technical management methods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to technical and application teams.
  • Documenting the company's existing security architecture and technology portfolio.
  • Working with technical teams to conduct research on emerging technologies in support of growing application and technical environments that will increase cost effectiveness and system flexibility.
  • Assisting technical teams to develop and manage a systems capacity plan.
  • Identifying potential problem areas that could degrade system performance and recommending workable, practical solutions.
  • Ensuring availability and performance requirements are being met.
  • Establishing testing environment strategies.
  • Participating in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-8 years of related experience required.
  • Ability to design system architecture in a complex technical environment to meet business objectives.
  • Experience with documenting technical support environments.
  • Working knowledge of networking environment, data security solutions, wireless networks, operating systems (Microsoft, Linux), CrowdStrike, Sumo Logic, Forcepoint, zero-trust network architecture, and other modern defense technologies.
  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic and evaluation skills related to WAN/LAN support.
  • Enterprise architecture and design in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in architecting high visibility projects that interact with multiple business lines and technology teams.
