Develop and apply biochemical, biophysical, and cellular assays to enable the development of chemical probes suitable for cellular and in vivo pharmacological validation. Screen compounds; analyze and interpret data. Explore and elucidate molecular modes-of-action of chemical probes. Maintain accurate lab records and documentation. Contribute to publications and grant proposals. Stay current with scientific advances in the fields of chemical biology and screening technologies, and apply emerging techniques and insights to their own research Qualifications PhD degree in chemical biology or a related discipline. Expert in protein preparation, biochemical assay development and compound screening. Expert in chemical biology techniques used to assess interactions between proteins and small molecules. Experience in cell-based assay development, compound screening and immunoblot. Experience in chemoproteomics is desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
