As a Quality Control Technician, 2nd Shift, you will be responsible for testing/validating properties of wet samples that come into QC and preparing those samples for spray testing. You are responsible for property testing that is reported to the customer and is critical for accurate performance of the product. You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and report to the Quality Control Supervisor.Main Responsibilities:
- Wet property testing of samples (viscosity, density and resistivity)
- Reduction of batch samples to specific viscosities for spray outs
- Dry film testing (hardness, gloss, defect evaluation)
- Maintain a clean work area, following all waste disposal protocol
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
- Ability to understand detailed directions and record information accurately
- Basic knowledge of math and scientific principles
- Ability to be on your feet for most duties
- Ability to lift 25 lbs in order to handle materials
