Based in Hilo and Kona, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive community where every individual is empowered to thrive.Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Overnights/EveningsAs a Direct Support Professional, you'll play a key role in supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals, enhance their independence, and be an active part of their community. You'll work directly with participants in their homes and out in the community, helping them with day-to-day tasks and building meaningful connections.What's the job like?Personal Care: Provide respectful, professional support with daily living tasks such as eating, mobility, bathing, toileting, changing, and other hygiene needs.Overnight Support: Monitor and assist participants during overnight hours, ensuring their comfort, safety, and any necessary personal care throughout the night.Empowerment: Support independence by encouraging self-determination and goal-setting.Compassion: Be a steady, supportive presence in the lives of our participants, building strong relationships and making a difference.Experience: CNA experience is a plus, but not required - we provide thorough training for the right person!Qualifications:No experience? No problem! We're looking for compassionate individuals with a strong desire to help others. We'll train you to succeed! Here's what we're looking for:18+ years oldHigh School Diploma/GED (or the ability to demonstrate key skills)CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to get certified)Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving recordTuberculosis clearance (Full Life will assist with this)Why Full Life?We believe in empowering our team.
