Job Description
Position Description:
The Behavioral Health Manager position is multifaceted, depending on the specific caseload, including mental health treatment, support services, and supervision of staff providing evidence-based techniques.
The primary responsibility is to provide supportive services to direct service providers working with children and/or adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional disturbances, and mental health needs.
This position will receive supervision from Transitions Directors, Supervisors, and Mental Health Supervisors through observation, meetings, and videos. Supervision may vary based on the service provided or work performed. Regular supervision is documented. Leads are also expected to attend team meetings, staff development sessions, and trainings as per their development plan.
Licensed under state Board of Psychology, Behavior Analysis, and/or Board of Social Work.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Masters degree in social work, psychology, or related human services is preferred for Community Supervisor positions.
Minimum Qualifications (knowledge and skills):
Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, email, quick learner, detail-oriented, organized, punctual, good attendance, customer service skills, ability to work with children, change diapers, toilet train, and multi-language fluency.
