Position can be based out of their Northeast Region (100% REMOTE). This position is open due to growth and you will be responsible for acting as the lead broker on large & complex property insurance programs.If interested, please send resume to ...@solomonedwards.com – All resumes will be held confidentially and nothing will be shared with anyone without your consent and approval.Responsibilities:Lead the strategy, design, placement, and servicing of clients' large/complex property risks.Orchestrate new business placement, renewals and alterations of existing coverage.Develop, review and deliver presentations to secure new, and build on existing, relationships.Review and evaluate information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks to support the placement of client risks in the market.Research and evaluate all solutions (insurance and otherwise) to identify and develop optimum risk solutions for clients.Provide coverage and program design advice and expertise to client; perform needs and gap analysis to make recommendations regarding program improvements.Build strong partnerships with a broad range of organizations and stakeholders in the market in order to secure optimum terms and conditions for clients.Contribute to thought leadership and continuous process improvement of the Broking function.Work closely with associates to stay on top of changes in the marketplace.Oversee design and preparation of draft proposals; negotiate and finalize of carrier quotes, terms and conditions and coverage confirmations to ensure contract certainty.Bind carrier quotes and review binders and coverage confirmations.Request / Attend and participate in regular client and underwriter meetings.Provide coaching to brokers in trainingQualifications:Insurance broker's P&C license requiredStrong group presentation skills (written and verbal); ability to drive complex/technical conversationsRelationship management: customer focus, collaboration, interpersonal skills, and conflict management; demonstrates shared ownership of resolution of conflictsNegotiation skills: carrier and client negotiation skills; can secure concessions without damaging relationshipsThe specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
